Privacy Policy

• Account Information: Your name and email address. If you use Sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the name and email you choose to share.
• Trip Content: The trips, itineraries, notes, lodging details, packing lists, to-do items, and files you create or upload.
• Profile Details: Optional information such as a profile picture, home country, home currency, and how you heard about Partir.
• People You Share With: Email addresses you enter to share a trip or invite a collaborator.
• Payment Information: Subscriptions are handled by Apple or our payment processor. We never receive your card number — only your subscription status.
• Usage Data: Features used and actions taken in the app, linked to your account.
• Technical Data: IP address and browser details stored with your website sign-in session, and standard server logs.
• Location: Only when you use the Nearby feature and allow location access. It is not stored in your account.

• To provide the service (contract): running your account, storing your trips, sharing and invitations you request, subscriptions, nearby search, and account emails.
• Legitimate interests: improving Partir through usage analytics, keeping it secure, and answering support requests. You can object at any time.
• Consent: device location for Nearby. You can withdraw it in your device settings.
• Legal obligations: billing records and lawful requests from authorities.

We do not sell your personal information, use it for advertising, or track you across other companies' apps or websites.

We use a small number of service providers — for hosting, email delivery, payments, analytics, sign-in, maps and place search, and weather — who process data only on our behalf. Booking links take you to partner sites whose own privacy policies apply. We may also disclose information if required by law.

To share a trip, you enter someone's email address and we send them a private view-only link. That link works without signing in, so only send it to people you trust.

Inviting someone to collaborate on a trip requires a paid plan. Collaborators can view and edit that trip's itinerary. Your packing list always stays private to you, even from collaborators.

Your information is stored in the United States. If you are in the European Economic Area, UK, or Switzerland, transfers to our service providers are protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and their UK and Swiss equivalents).

We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your information. If a breach affects your data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Profile, which removes your profile and the trips you own and cancels any web subscription. App Store subscriptions are cancelled through Apple. Website sessions are deleted when they expire, and billing records may be kept where tax or accounting law requires. Email austin@pearcestudio.com to have your analytics records deleted too.

Wherever you live, you can:

• Access or get a copy of your data
• Correct your data, most of which you can edit in Settings
• Delete your account and data
• Receive your data in a portable format
• Restrict or object to how we use your data
• Withdraw consent at any time

Email austin@pearcestudio.com and we will respond within one month. If you are in the EEA or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

The website only uses cookies needed to keep you signed in, secure forms, and remember display preferences. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.

Partir is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
