Privacy Policy

• Account Information: Your name and email address, collected when you create an account, so we can identify you and send account-related emails. If you use Sign in with Apple, we receive your name and email from Apple.
• Trip Content: The trips, itineraries, notes, lodging details, packing lists, to-do items, and files you create or upload. We store these so your trips are there when you come back.
• Profile Details: Optional information you choose to add, such as a profile picture, home country, and home currency.
• Payment Information: Subscriptions are handled by our payment processor. We never receive or store your card number — only your subscription status, so we know what your account can access.
• Usage Data: Device and activity information, such as trips created and features used, to understand how the app is used and improve it.
• Location: When you use the Nearby feature, your device location is used to find places around you. It is not stored in your account or used for anything else.

• Sending account emails, such as verification, password resets, and trip invitations

Your information is stored securely on servers in the United States using industry-standard encryption and security measures. We implement reasonable measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we will never share your email address for marketing purposes. We do use a small number of service providers — for hosting, payments, analytics, maps and place search, weather, and email delivery — who process data only as needed to run Partir on our behalf. We may also disclose information if required by law.

To share a trip, you enter someone's email address and we send them a private view-only link. That link works without signing in, so treat it as private and only send it to people you trust. We store the email addresses you share with in order to send those invitations.

Inviting someone to collaborate on a trip requires a paid plan. Collaborators can view and edit that trip's itinerary. Your packing list always stays private to you, even from collaborators.

• Access or correct your information from your profile settings
• Delete your account and its data at any time
• Request a copy of your data by emailing us

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Profile, which removes your profile and the trips you own and cancels any active subscription. You can also email austin@pearcestudio.com and we will take care of it. Billing records may be retained where required for legal or accounting reasons.

Partir is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
